  • Are you passionate about organization and mobilizing others to action? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of girls and women? Our operations partners assist with the smooth day-to-day functioning of Spark United’s efforts. This position is an excellent fit for those who want deeper insights into the everyday operations of a charitable organization and includes conducting meetings, maintaining and tracking inventory, tracking and onboarding volunteers, and more.

    Duties:

    • Assist with the board of directors operational activities.

    • Coordinate board of directors monthly meetings

    • Meeting should be scheduled no later than two weeks after previous meeting

    • Maintain and keep track Spark swag inventory in designated spreadsheet

    • Spreadsheet will be reviewed by either the President/VP periodically

    • Garnish/Maintain Swag vendors relationship

    • Keep a list of prospects. You may work alongside the marketing team.

    • Secure process of invoices and payments

    • Maintain Organization Operations System (Monday.com)

    • Onboard new volunteers

    • Update onboarding document should it be necessary. Get approval first.

    • Assisting with project management by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues.

    • Develop and manage all internal communication systems.

    • Monitor and implement Operational process

    • Financial tracking of organization budget

    • Work with president to generate organization budgets

    • Lead volunteer training when needed

    • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. No exceptions.

    • Prepare and maintain operations documents and reports up-to-date.

    • Work alongside AHF Marketing Team to maintain compliance

  • Are you a clear and effective communicator who loves to make a difference? Our marketing partners play a critical role in sharing Spark United’s vision and mission with the world. Put your creativity to work in creating multi-channel marketing campaigns that speak to the community, donors, and women and girls who rely on Spark United’s services. Manage and create social media campaigns, newsletters, and emails and work alongside an enthusiastic team committed to women’s empowerment.

    Duties:

    • Create and implement marketing plans/strategy

    • Produce internal communications.

    • Work alongside Operations Partner

    • Newsletter, blog posts, etc.

    • Manage email list for the newsletter

    • Create branded advertising campaigns

    • Support the marketing and design teams by coordinating and collating content.

    • Conduct campaign management for marketing initiatives.

    • Conduct market research and document to identify marketing opportunities

    • Create a strategy from research

    • Traffic all advertising efforts to appropriate channels.

    • Create, maintain, and strengthen the organization’s overall brand presence.

    • Build brand awareness

    • Manage contractors and other promotional vendors/agencies.

    • Keep a list of prospects. You may work alongside Operations Partner.

    • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. No exceptions.

    • Create presentations to showcase how the group activates.

    • Produce marketing and promotional materials.

    • Simplify complex data into a user-friendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.

    • Work alongside the marketing design team to execute this.

    • Create, monitor, and manage all social media content and platforms.

    • Tailor content to appeal to each social media platform’s target audience.

    • Create content providing search engine optimization (SEO) for the website.

  • Do you love a great party? Do you love creating magic through a perfectly curated event with the right music, food, and decorations? Spark United needs your magic. Our events partners help create memorable events for our various stakeholders, including donors, community members, and beneficiaries of our services. Partners plan events, trainings, and workshops to share Spark United’s mission and manage all aspects of event planning, budgeting, set up, and more. Put your love of celebrations and events to work for a meaningful cause by partnering with us.

    Duties:

    • Identify the Board of Directors requirements and expectations for each event.

    • Document them and share findings with the team via email

    • Create and garnish relationships with current and future vendors.

    • Coordinate and execute events’ logistics (exhibitors, stakeholders during the event planning process to ensure everything is scheduled, signed, paid, expectations, etc.)

    • Manage all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes.

    • Create, get approval, and maintain event budgets.

    • Secure venues, entertainers, photographers, and speakers in a timely fashion. (Ideally three months in advance)

    • Assess an event’s overall success and submit an event recap by the following week.

    • Work with Operations Partner with event project management by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues on the Monday App platform.

    • Plan and organize conferences, events, staff training, and community engagement activities.

    • Have a running calendar with updates on events/activities

    • Prepare and maintain event operations documents and reports. They will be reviewed periodically

  • Are you passionate about advocating for women and girls? Do you want to improve sexual health and empowerment for women everywhere? Spark United is looking for passionate advocates who would like to spread the word of Spark United to our community at large. Advocates play a critical role in our work, forming and maintaining relationships, helping clients overcome barriers to education and healthcare access, and leading grassroots movements that champion women and girls in our community.

    Duties:

    • Develop and implement advocacy messaging & strategies

    • You may work alongside marketing

    • Strengthen and build relationships with community partners and women-centric groups

    • Manage various member engagement initiatives, grassroots advocacy, and special projects as it relates to Spark’s advocacy efforts.

    • Assist in the development of the social media strategy.

    • Identify gaps and barriers in accessing Spark/AHF services.

    • Work on solutions with the team and share them.
