We are here to empower, educate, and engage.

About Us

SPARK was founded in 2018 and is comprised of Sisters working together to Promote Awareness through Resources and Knowledge.

Our Core Values

  • We provide Support for our sisters globally.

  • We move, plan, and execute with Purpose.

  • We rally and organize Advocacy opportunities for issues that matter most to women and girls.

  • We treat everyone with Respect, and provide resources to promote Resilience.

  • Our Knowledge is our power, so we educate our community and our sisters.

  • I spark because I believe that if a woman holds the power to create life, she also holds the power to create the life that she wants and deserves the opportunity to remove any road bumps that is deterring her from living and creating the life she dreams of.

    Sandyann

  • I spark because when women are in places of power, the world changes for the better. I spark to ignite imagination, hope, and determination in my sisters and my community. I want to empower people to continue to speak up, band together, and bring down the patriarchy.

    Theresa

  • I spark for my daughter and for my sisters in the community. I want to be a helping hand wherever I can be, in all of us winning and achieving whatever we put our minds to.

    Imani

  • I spark because I believe that all women should speak their truth, and have a good time while doing it! I am a pharmacist provider who focuses on HIV prevention education, prescribing, and medication therapy management for the AIDs Healthcare Foundation. I am passionate about tackling the public health issue of racism in the communities facing disparities by empowering them with the tools to change the narrative in health care. I believe in the power of advocacy, and my interest peaked for HIV because I remembers watching the Haitian community protest the CDC’s nonscientific claim that Haitians were one of the cardinal H groups that included Homosexuals, Heroine users, and Hemophiliacs, that were the perceived risk factor for HIV. Her self-proclaimed purpose is to add value to all those she comes into contact with on a daily basis.

    Cassandra

  • I spark because I want to give my daughter the ability to truly see herself for herself and no one else, I spark to be the big sister I lost as a child and I spark because sometimes we lose our spark and we just need a little help.

    Lorenza

  • I spark because we are stronger together. Through our collective effort, we can spark for women's rights, and equality for everyone, while rewriting history that includes women, nonbinary and queer folk.
